The reason I indict Mack Brown is Goodwin has been at Texas four years and it took his final game for someone to recognize his extreme talent? I mean the guy is a world class athlete and couldn't be covered, yet before Major we never saw an emphasis on getting him the ball. I know Mack was not the Offensive Coordinator but he seemed to have no problem with Goodwin's lack of use. He is in charge and he allowed Harsin's "spread it around" approach to just ignore one of the greatest weapons this team has ever had. Shameful.

One game into Major's OC career and after the above comments, Marquise Goodwin was voted the Alamo Bowl MVP and simply stated Marquised just wished Applewhite was the OC for more than one game.

I feel better about this coming season and expect to see guys like Mike Davis, Daje Johnson and Cayleb Jones get the attention they deserve. I remember my high school coach say there is one thing defenses can't defend and that is speed. You can't prepare for it or duplicate it.

Mack needs to get with the program or leave it. Hiring Major Applewhite was a great start but I am still pissed off we wasted such a talent and as excited as I am for his professional career, I sigh when I think of what could have been.

Couldn't agree more about UT offense not maximizing Goodwin's or Monroe's talents while Harsin was in charge. Hopefully, Major will do better with both Daje and Magic next season. Jones? He's more of a possession WR, b/c his 40 yd time is only in the 4.5's.

Yeah, I'm frustrated with Mack too. But, who can we get RIGHT NOW who's any better? Big money alums and UT administration love him.
