How do you guys feel about Robinson as a replacement for now?
Not great but can't be any worse than Manny. This season is stll going to end mediocre for Texas.

Take a look at Robinson's last outing as Defensive Coordinator (Michigan 2009 - 2010).

Even though Manny's gone this is not a joyous day for Texas by any stretch of the imagination.
Robinson was trying to implement Dick Rod's 3-3-5 defense at Michigan as well. A 3-3-5 defense in the Big 10 at that time was about as stupid as Mack wanting to turn Texas into Alabama West with a power running game in the Big 12 with players that were recruited to play in a spread offense. Square pegs don't fit into round holes.

Couldnt agree with you more... You hit the nail on the head!

Robinson will do fine. getting these guys to line up straight and tackle will cut out half the crap, and that might be enough to hold teams under 24 and give the offense a friggin chance.

As it turns out, Manny wasn't fired. He has been "reassigned" within the athletic dept. Now that sounds more like Mack.

Actually, I'm not surprised at all. Didn't think Mack would toss him to the street without softening his fall.

Now that's why this football program is soft. Mack has no balls. Be man enough to admit when you fire a guy that he has been shitcanned.

Reassigned? Not to be an ass but other than hauling out trash, what good is Diaz to the program?

Short answer: NONE. Hes a consistent failure.
