Mack stepping down!

Mack: "It's been a wonderful ride. Now the program is again being pulled in different directions, & I think the time is right for a change."

without Nick Saban
OK, I MAY have added that last part

Texas says Mack Brown resignation press conference will be held at at 1 p.m. Sunday

I sent a rather stern email to our AD at approximately 4pm today Less than 3 hours later Mack resigns. I have gotta be careful with these newfound powers.

Makes sense.

Comments yesterday basically did give us any information. Figured he'd wait until the bowl game but glad this soap opera is over.

This news...to quote Mr. P. Robertson, makes me, "Happy, happy, happy."

DizzG I hope MB is going to have no say in the Football program and this quote makes me wounder. "I hope with some new energy, we can get this thing rolling again."

That "we" could mean he is planning to staying around in some capisity. What do y'all think? My friends y'all have a great weekend.

Pretty sure it's already been mentioned that Mack will be a "Special Assistant to the President" through the remainder of his contract.

Pancho Negro so dose that mean he will have some controll in the athletic program. If we get a coach worth his salt that can't happen. My friends y'all have a great day.
