Mack Brown to receive Contract Extension?

Deloss Dodds talked with the Dallas Morning News and said the school is considering a contract extension for Mack Brow, whose current contract ends in 2016 (per Chuck Carlton).

If they give him a contract extension and he has another less than stellar season, will that void his extension so they can fire him, or force him to retire?

Man, I say they leave his contract as-is. He still has 4 more years! I think they are trying to put a stop to the rumors that he is on the hot seat. Frankly I think he needs a little fire underneath his seat. Our team needs to get back to where they are accustomed to being - on top.
