Well the main site reporting on this for over a year has never reported it was a done deal at any time so I wont be in line to trash them. I will appreciate they were willing to talk about subjects and go in to info other sites were scared to get into

As to people like Mcphaul - I wont be pissed at him if Saban doesnt come as he only reports what his contacts tell him. He's been 100% because that is what his sources are. people can take that info and do what they want with it

And Colin did that cause people like you would be listening and tuning it and it would create a lot of clicks for him. get real. you believe anything. and when did the Bama Chancellor say something? is that from another "insider". you must realize that news organization and sports networks pay attention to these boards and do research. if anything that these insiders would said would be true then they would find out and verify and it would be all over ESPN and MSN.com front page. they arent. The only story to this is that a BoR contacted Sexton to see about Saban's interest, Saban told Sexton which told the BoR that Texas would be the only school he'd consider leaving alabama if he wanted. Why are you even on a sports message board if you believe NO ONE has sources on anything? for the people who also belong to IT, 247, and OB for inside info and pay money for that why would anyone do that if they think its all bullshit? People come to sites like this (even though this one is currently free) to talk UT sports but also get info about the program the mainstream media is not going to report or pick up on a daily basis until its actually happened. because sometimes stuff they predict actually comes true. in this case nothing has come true. not one thing. and ive canceled my subs at IT and OB a few months ago. Inside info is a little different when it comes to recruits and tends to pan out a little better. with coaches there's certain protocols that must be followed and most of the ones that are being spewed goes agaisnt those. So you know for a fact? You've hung our with them and the person they talk to in the flesh? you sure you arent getting Catfished?? and its def not all BS. just at least some things they say must come to fruition. they got the AD hire wrong and then somehow said thats who was needed the entire time to get Saban when Luck was the guy that was supposed to be needed to get saban and then they do a 180 and say Patterson was the guy..seriously, can you not see it?

Chip just updated it, and said that Bama is putting a deal together to offer Saban, but it hasn't hit his desk yet.

Bama was obviously going to make an offer to extend his contract and give him more money. This does not mean that he has any intention of taking it.

This to me proves the rumors that we have been talking to Saban. Now in the next few days is when we'll discover if he really was interested, or was just using us to get a raise.
