Full spring game.

If you are any student of body language, who would you predict would win the up coming game ?.....One side looks relaxed and confident, and the other looks apprehensive and perhaps a bit worried, no?

after the game Pete Carrol was asked why he went for it on 4th down....he said we had to keep the ball to win. "we couldnt stop the quarterback."

Lineart was asked the key tothe game and he said..."we couldnt stop the quarterback"

Texas had nothing to lose since all the experts were picking the greatest team ever to win.

I personally had Texas winning by 10, I was off by a TD.

I figured Kim Mulkey going to LSU would get more post on here. She a great coach but I don’t care for her as a good person. I don’t care if she stayed or go.......I think Vic’s got us coming. We should be a regular at the top of the league and tournament time moving forward. Same with Chris Beard and the Men’s team. CDC is finally getting the coaches he wants and paying top dollar for their staffs. A new stadium expansion and a new basketball arena tends to do that I guess

that was a VERY real movement starting about 1968. Had they ever allowed the student body to vote on it there is a good chance that the texas mascot would now be the armadillo.

You have to understand the times and the atmosphere on campus in those days....

Carrol’s Heisman winner was standing on the sideline on that 4th down play.  Head scratcher for sure, but dang sure glad he was over there

TEXAS’ QB BATTLE IS GOING LONG


Let’s start in Austin, where Steve Sarkisian made his first real appearance as the Longhorns’ head coach. While I could write plenty about running back Bijan Robinson (monster and a future Heisman contender) or d-lineman Moro Ojomo (his three sacks foretell a breakout year), let’s be honest: All anyone wants to hear about is the quarterbacks.

Redshirt junior Casey Thompson and redshirt freshman Hudson Card are locked in a fierce competition for the starting job. Both Thompson (23-for-42, 242 yards, 1 INT) and Card (15-for-25, 168 yards, 1 TD) had their moments and their issues. Some will point to Thompson’s interception as a strike against him. But frankly, the pick-six wasn’t as terrible as it looked upon replay. Thompson played vs. basically the first-team defense while Card went against the second. All things considered, it's tough to say either quarterback was light years better than the other.

That’s exactly how Sarkisian wants it.

Texas needs to keep Thompson and Card on the roster for depth purposes this year. If one of them bolts, the Longhorns would be stuck with a first-time starter and a true freshman (Charles Wright) backup, a less-than-ideal situation. I’d put my long-term money on Card to this point. But I fully expect this competition to go deep into fall camp and likely to the week of the opener vs. Louisiana

isnt McGowan the guy that was arrested for burglary?  I think that is why OU suspended him. Now if OU suspends anybody they must have done something far worse than burglary.....I mean International incident worse. Hell, I thought OU players were rewarded with an extra tattoo for every arrest.
