Yea, I really didn't mean for what I posted to sound at all like anything critical was aimed at you. And I apologize if it came across like that even a little bit.

Hearing that Temple is again looking hard at Texas DC Todd Orlando as. their next HC. Orlando was a candidate before Diaz was hired. But Diaz has fled the scene and taken the Miami job. So Temple's job is open again.

Texas would go after LSU DC Arranda, if Orlando leaves.

If Orlando ever leaves, Texas would be well-advised to go after one of the numerous defensive experts that are members of the Orangebloods board/website. There are an endless number of well-qualified and over-qualified candidates. And they will let you know that whether you ask or not. It gets quite entertaining over there to say the least

SHA, apparently there was a report very similar to this on the TFB site.  Is your intel coming from your source or were you sharing the TFB report?  Good to know either way, but it would be interesting if your internal source has the same info as TFB.

Looks like David Beatty will join UT staff as co-OC in the near future. This means one coach has to go and word is its Warehime. Mehringer may be looking for a job back east behind the scenes. If he leaves, UT would fill his spot with a defensive assistant to help Giles recruit.

When Texas was looking for a coach and CS was hired, Dabo Swinney offered to bring his whole staff with him to Texas.  I remember OB posters laughing at him and remarking what has he done.  Well?  I hope in the long run CTH brings that success here.

For now, I'm hoping Orlando stays put. Temple is not the job he needs to go for.
