Longhorn News/Discussion (Non-Recruiting)

Everything I see states Stanford leads Michigan by 1/2 point. With Stanford being in the CWS and no Big Blue, I'm thinking they'll take it yet again.
Those are the standings after the fall and winter sports. It is not accounting for the spring season success Texas has had (Tennis and rowing NC as well as lots of other top finishes).

OK....that article said TO could very well be the leading receiver for Texas this year. So far, I have seen the same thing said about Whitington, Moore, and someone else....( My Perry moment)....I dont know that this is a good thing.  It seems to me that we simply have no idea who is going to do what this year.

Sounds reasonable since the article I found is dated June 3rd 2021 and the final standings are set to be released July 2nd. However nowhere except the above tweet is stating Texas has won it.

I don't want to hear Josey Wales dead, I want to see Josey Wales dead.  ?

Part of that is that there's a lot of talent in the room and tons of "potential." . . meaning they haven't done it yet. So its all a crapshoot right now.

Whittington has the potential to be a Heisman type.

Joshua Moore has a chance to lead the team in receptions, maybe TDs.

Xavier Worthy has the same chance to do both.

Kelvontay Dixon has the same chance to do both.

Jake Smith has the same chance to do both. He's dropped some weight I am told.

Just with those players, you have an element we really haven't had much of – ability + speed.

Troy Omeire will be a nice player for us. I don't in any way expect him to lead any categories. But I can see him as a good go-to guy when a play falls apart.

IMO, Marcus Washington could be the same player Omeire is.

There's a lot of talent listed above. And thats without going into the Tight Ends' room.

Finally received and used my latest purchase yesterday. This golf bag really garnered a lot of positive attention out here in Hawaii.  Never knew how popular Texas was with the locals.  Hook'em thrown and said all day when they came close it.  I love having this thing.  Texas needs to recruit Hawaii more.

Of the 30 players that count towards the 2021 class, does anyone know who has enrolled and who hasn't? The UT website is of no help. 247 is showing players enrolled but they aren't on UT's roster per their website.

Guess we will have to wait for fall roster to come out. I have looked every where except ITS rosterwhich is behind pay wall.

I am making a roster chart of my own and will add names as I find them. Still belive recruiting will be a mess due to every one gaining a year of playing time.
