Longhorn Legend Tucker Seeks Kickoff Rule Change

One of our favorites is suggesting a rule change for the NFL. First suggestion is that the kicking team would be awarded a point if the Kickoff goes through the uprights. If that isn't approved, he'd like to see the reward for said kick result in the receiving team starting on the 10 yard line.

I'm actually not opposed to either of those suggestions. That kind of kick should be rewarded IMO. If nothing else, I like the idea of starting the receiving team further back. Why not put a greater importance on special teams?

 
Even if you don't allow the point, I really like the idea of a kicker becoming part of the defense by having the drive start at the 10. Good stuff

 
I agree. I would definitely be more on board with the team starting at the 10 than awarding a point.
