My eldest, a graduate of UF, is at the homecoming game of Florida versus Vandy where its now 17-0 Commodores. He says there are chants in the alumni section growing louder and louder, "go back to Texas! go back to Texas!"

If the Gators lose this game, there's a real chance they finish below .500 this season and no bowl game.

Muschamp is a dead man walking in Gator Country..... MY biggest fear is he ends up as the HC at Texas. Not ideal.

I agree, bbdude, but I wouldn't mind having him back as our defensive coordinator.

Some coaches just aren't cut out to be a head coach. Muschamp is apparently one of those guys.

He bit off more than he could chew, plus it was a stupid move to hire Charlie Weis.

I've checked one of the Florida boards this a.m. and it's not pretty for Will. He's had a ton of injuries, but I think his biggest issue has been the inability to hire a good OC. Florida has consistently had offenses ranked in the low 100's and he just isn't having any luck on that side of the ball. Playing South Carolina on the road and ending the season against FSU will be brutal and the team is on the verge of quitting on him if they haven't already.
