Linemen

Getting Vahe was huge. He'll be an NFL player in 4-5 years now. Trust me on that.

What about the big O lineman suspended all year..... If he has his act together..... Upgrade at tackle?

I think there are only 6 scholarship OL on this team.  In the chat last night, Throthefade said 15-20 is the norm.  I can see the staff going after OL hard next year too.

Based on the last game, here's our depth chart for 2015

Hutchins  Sr  Flowers Sr   Doyle Sr   Perkins Jr  Hughes Jr

Those are your projected starters (again solely based on the bowl game)

You have

Raulerson Soph

Rodriguez Rs Fresh

Anderson Rs Fresh

Jake McMillion Rs Freshman

Terrell Cunney  Rs Fr

Harrison Sr (limbo?)

Inbound JUCOs:

Brandon Hodges

Tristan Nickolsen

Hopefully at least one pushes for starting PT

Inbound commits:

Vahe

Williams

Major

Thomas

Adding Vahe and possibly Ricmond.....could be a real upgrade according to the board...

What I wonder..... I hear Riichmond, Vahe, Perkins, Harrison, all solid linemen..... So get Richmond and one more along another offseason.... We should be much improved....

Here is what I see for a best case scenario.

Tackles - Harrison and Hodges need to step up.

Guards - James comes back from his injury and Perkins improves.

Center - Doyle holds his own.

Others

We really need to see improvement from Raulerson and/or Rodriquez and/or Anderson.

Hutchins and Flowers are no more than okay backups. If they are starters we are in trouble.

Hughes either needs to be 3rd team or be a part of the expected attrition.

From what I have read on various sites, Nickolsen is basically a depth provider.

Cunney is probably too small to do anything other than provide depth.

Have no clue how good McMillon is.

Incoming FR need to redshirt unless they are just a stud.

McMillon was a DE coming in to the program. Not sure if he had experience in HS on the OL, but was recruited as a DE. Haven't heard anything on him either. Hope he is learning fast from Wickline. Had heard good things regarding Anderson at one point, anyone have any insight?

If Hodges can play, we are stronger at RT than 2014.

I have no faith in Harrison doing anything.

Would not be shocked to see Anderson and/or Rodriguez push Flowers

Really hope we can R/S the true freshmen.

The 5 star kid is a pipe dream IMHO. . .but what the heck, miracles happen.

echeese, I notice that you haven't mentioned Darius James.

What are you hearing or what do you know or what do you think concerning him?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm thinking you're going to be right about Harrison.

Sorry, complete oversight on my part. . .James returning 100% would be HUGE for our OL. . . . .if in fact he's 100% into the game. . ..

A ready to go James upgrades the OL. . . . .

Knew I was missing a piece to the puzzle. . .
