Texas’ leading WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey made his intentions known via Twitter that he is forgoing his senior season and heading to the NFL.

Had heard recently that someone close to LJH thought he was returning to school, but this one has pretty much been a toss up. Collin Johnson returning takes some of the sting out LJ leaving, but the dream of having both back in 2019 is now dead and gone.

Best of luck to LJ going forward. Kid is a baller and someone is going to get a player only scratching the surface.

God speed L Jordan.

 Who is his likely replacement?

I think he would have benefitted from another year. I think he could have been in the Heisman running with the right kind of year.

But just the same, I'll be cheering him on every Sunday.

Good luck to him but I think he could be missing out on a title run. I don't think we win 10 games without him.

He will be missed, but we needed to move someone out b/c we are stacked at WR, I do not want to see anyone of our wideouts transfer

Man I'm going to miss not seeing him ball on Saturdays. Not a big NFL guy but I'll tune in to watch him. Love unique skill set guys. Plus he seems like a great kid to me.

Good luck to him. We have talent at this position so I'm hoping some one or two can step in an take the load off of CJ.

I will shed a tear at his departure, but will wish him the best of luck in the NFL. My Cowboys could always use a physical receiver like him

I hate to see him go, but it is next man up and it frees up a scholly.

He has become one of my favorite players of recently. I’m great full for the time he has spent on the 40 acres and will be rooting for him at the next level.

Loved watching his physical style. Wish the young man well and I have no doubt he will be successful in life.

Hope he ends up on a good team.

Having only played WR 2 years figured he could use another year. But maybe he'll get trained up and get paid. Best of luck to him. As this dragged out, figured he was gone. We are stacked at WR even without the new freshman, but man am I pumped for this class. WR is not a concern at all. RB, DL, and LB are the worry spots for me.

This is a very big loss. He has been huge, best WR on team in ‘18. Unique skill set for sure. Was very confident with all 3 WRs back but JW and JS and JM will need to be ready at slot. Him back was worth at least 1 win imo(LSU/Ou) type win.

I doubt if LJH had stayed he would had been a serious candidate for the Heisman. That's doesn't mean he wouldn't have had a great season.

Right now the Heisman is pretty much for the top QB's. If anything Jordan going pro hurts Sam chances for the Heisman next year.
