Key to future success

Not to overstate the obvious, but the key to our success in upcoming seasons is recruiting. From 2015 and onward, our recruiting classes should be top 5 annually. There is no reason that our recruiting should ever be behind any team in the big 12 or aggy. The 2015 class should be an early barometer of the CS era. If this staff can duplicate the early recruiting success under Mack (tall order), then our success on the field will exceed Mack's teams. Due to recent complancency, our cupboard is half empty.

Hopefully reel in 2-3 dt's this weekend.

You're right, big weekend. I think we reel in at least two.

Not a lot you can expect from Strong so late in the game, but if he finishes with some solid additions to the class, you got to feel good about where it goes from here.

After so MANY years under Mack and the art of early recruiting, it will be very interesting to see how this staff operates in that regard.

would someone update us on what is going on this weekend? Are we having some DT's into town?

We are rumored to have 3 DT prospects coming in, not all necessarily this weekend but before signing day.

Poona Ford, Chris Nelson, Trevonte Valentine. Ford and Valentine are very good players. Nelson is a big DE and could be a DT also.

There was also a rumor that South Carolina LB Christian Miller might visit Texas, not confirmed i believe.
