Actually that was incorrect, Geoff did not take a shot or better yet make a light hearted jab at us.
Well what do you do? Hell, Ketch is right! We are the Minor B team
in the Little League.
However IMO, Hornsports has some Major League All Star posters playing on our Minor B team
and I for one feel fortunate to have them over here.
With that said, Ketchs' math is a little off.
One month ago Hornsports had approximately had 1000 users. Today we have 2554 registered posters. You let that upward growth set in.
Everyone has to start somewhere but, all of you guys & gals should be proud of where we started and where we are at today.
I'm optimistic about the future of this site. We really do have some great plans in the works.
Geoff Ketchum & Clendon Ross are to be commended for the sites they have built. I am in awe of their accomplishments. As I have said before, I'm going to try my best to incorporate on Hornsports what they have done well and avoid the mistakes they may have made.
Let's refrain from getting into or creating any site war. Let's just enjoy what you all are building over here.
Regardless of our numbers, we can have a high class of of poster and that is what we are striving for. Hornsports is not going to jeopardize our class of poster just to increase our membership. We believe that approach will serve us well in the future?
Keep spreading the word to all your good friends about the Hornsports community.
In parting I'm going to brag on this fact: Last weeks Crossfire had over 15,000 views. When is the last time you saw any article on any site reach those numbers?
We had 19,000 views on Wednesday. Those numbers are unheard of for a startup site our seize.
If Ketch or Clendon read this post, you should be be proud of what you two have built. We hope to be mentioned in the same sentence you with you all one day.
Until then, don't pay any attention to our 400 posters over here
