K State -2.5

That's about right. Kind of a pick'em with their QB being out and in Manhattan. A little surprised KST isn't at least 4-5 pt favorite though.

I think this is a very winnable game for us and K State is not a good passing team. As one K State fan said to me "At least if you choose to get rid of Charlie you can , but we are stuck with Snyder until he decides to retire again".

Texas should win this game because KSU is a very, very ordinary team.

Offensively, they should not stress our defense.

Defensively, they will struggle to stop a team that can run and throw like Texas can.

Prior to this season I would've agreed, now I'm reserving optimism

Serious question? Are we better than ordinary?

Offense: For sure

Defense: No.... Except against ISU, which hopefully started a trend

Special Teams: Variable. Some games are ordinary, some games are worse.
I have some disagreement with your analysis. I would love it if our special teams were ever ordinary. Especially against another decent team. So at best we are below ordinary in two out of three units.

I put special teams at ordinary because this year, our punter and punt team is fantastic. Kickoff coverage has been excellent. Punt returns and Kickoff returns are very ordinary, but haven't muffed any punts or fumbled kickoff returns. Obviously FG and PATs leave something to be desired. Putting that all together, I say ST as a whole are pretty ordinary, but not necessarily below average.

Several comments about KSU's QB being injured and may not be able to play against Texas. Based on his stats, it's totally meaningless if he doesn't play. He's that bad.

Here are his stats for the year against the 4 P5 teams he has played against, Stanford, West Virginia, Tech, and Oklahoma.

44-98 with 2 interceptions and 2 TD's.

KSU ranked 112th in passing yards per game.

Edit: KSU and Kansas have the worst QB's we will face all year in the B12. And it's not even close.
