Over our last 42 games we are 23-19. What other program would allow this to continue? #FIVEREVERYONE

Texas is now 0-7 in home games against ranked opponents since 2010.

Texas had lost 9 games at home from 1997-2009 Texas has now lost 10 games at home since 2010 A complete shit show

So many mistakes. Bad recruiting, poor talent evaluation, bad coordinators, clueless head coach, an enabler as the Athletic Director and rich old guys who don't want change.

No one deserved to come back after last season. No one should be retained after this season.

New Mexico State, Idaho, Marshall, Kansas, Duke, Tulane, North Texas, New Mexico, UTEP, Akron.... should I go on with the fail train?

I've been drinking beer all damn day again. It's not helping. We still suck, but I'm not feeling much pain.

I feel just the opposite. I want total failure so there will be no mistake that Mack is gone. The worse the better. It will be worth it to rid this great university of this shame.

I hope we blow the hell out of KSU next weekend because we owe those bastards. Mack Brown aside, nobody should beat this team 3 times straight, let alone 6. I want Bill Snyder's head on a stake (football speaking).

Good. In fact, if Bill Powers has said something in support of Mack Brown as reported, then send him the bill for Mack Brown's severance payments.

No program with NC aspirations should have tolerated blowout losses to arch rival Oklahoma 63-14 or 65-13. That neither Mack Brown nor deLOSS dud was fired after such blowout losses said a ton about the standard of accountability being practiced at Texas.

I think Bill Powers has no clue when it comes to the athletic department. DeLoss ran the show for 30+ years and built it into a GIANT. The Giant makes cash but it needs to make more cash and the only way to do it is to win, win, win.

A really sad rumor is that Dodds has cancer. If that is the case I hope he gets well soon - first and foremost. He has my utmost respect for transcending Texas into what it is today from an athletic perspective.

I was at UT during the Mackovic era and it was pitiful. Along came Coach Brown a few years later and things turned around and now we're back to that point where we are insignificant. Fans are never wrong to have the highest expectations for their teams - as long as the expectations are realistic. In my opinion it is NEVER wrong for UT fans to expect the program to be on par with the Alabama's, LSU's and Ohio State's of the world.

Right the ship and let's get back to playing Texas football.

Well said... Well said

My feeling are these things run in cycles. When you are up, everything works out. When you are down, it doesn't seem to be anything you can do straighten it out.

The good news is, we are still Texas, and it will get straightened out. Not sure when, just that it will.

how big are their coaches' pay checks?

(Mack Brown is pocketing 5 mils a year, running a program that's supposedly with national championship aspirations.)

wait,,, you are saying the same thing I have been saying for 12 years and YET you accuse me of dis-respecting Mack Brown?

you want total failure (and the worse the better) .... that's the same if not more severe as me hoping Texas lose all remaining games. But you BS about me not supporting Texas???

you hypocrite.
