Nick Saban flew into Austin Executive Airport last week on a private airplane. A private meeting with Patterson was arranged to hammer out the details of the transfer of power. The Saban deal is done and he is waiting for Mack to announce. Mack will coach the bowl game. There is nothing more to tell.

Saban's contract only stipulates Saban has to notify UA that he is talking to another prospective employer. There is nothing stating UA has to give any permission.
