http://www.sbnation.com/golf/2014/4/11/5606262/masters-scores-results-2014-fridayThe other big name who put himself in position late in the day was Jordan Spieth, the 20-year-old making a bid to become the youngest Masters winner ever. He's a part of what I thought were the best first- and second-round pairings, with Rory McIlroy and Patrick Reed. But out of that sub-25-year-old group, only Spieth is really in a spot to do anything on the weekend. Reed is going home and McIlroy needed a par on the 18th hole just to make the cut after a day of unlucky bounces and breaks (including one wild bounce off a sprinkler head).
"Texas-Ex"?If Spieth does manage to win he would be the youngest Master's winner ever. Under par in all three rounds thus far. Quite an accomplishment for the Texas Ex.
Nope. Michael Dell is a Texas-Ex. Anyone who has taken a single class at UT is a Texas-Ex."Texas-Ex"?
Not to pick nits, but he was only on campus 3 semesters. Doesn't he have to get that sheepskin and T ring before he earns that title?![]()
When I was twenty I was romancing a tri delt UT cheerleader that was light years out of my league. I'm still amazed that she actually stepped down to marry me. And she is still a better golfer than me.Longhorn Network@LonghornNetwork --
@JordanSpieth is about to tee off in his first Masters.
Don't ask us what we were doing when we were 20.
