one of the most wonderful people I ever had the honor to meet. this has hit me like a ton of bricks three times as it has so many others.

I aspire to be a man like him. People he never met or spoke to will miss him. That screams "a life well lived" and we are blessed to have known him.

Really nice memorial service and reception today. In true Dillard fashion, Linda & the boys were fantastic hosts. They put on that brave face that belies deep pain - it's a long road ahead for them. Keep them in prayer.
