I see more similarities than differences, even if Banks is a little longer and probably the stronger post defender and not quite so adept with the mid-range jumper. While the natural inclination would be for Banks to be a 5 and Allen a 4, I don't know if those numbers will have much meaning on the offensive end. I don't know if Smart is going to be playing anyone in the half-court as a back to the basket post very often, and when he does, it would probably be taking advantage of the smaller defender in man defense.
