Put me in the cautiously optimistic camp until I see us play a game and until I see what the hell we look like on offense. 

I think this is pretty much a must win game and we can't look like crap doing it. This needs to be a solid win where the outcome is no longer in doubt by the end of the 3rd quarter at the latest.

That's exactly what will happen.  I'll ride that Orange Kool-Aid wave until it dumps me headfirst in the sand.  No matter how you try to prepare for it, losing hurts like hell.

I hope we crush Maryland as well but after a decade+ of irrelevance with annual preseason excitement my approach is cautiously optimistic.

If I had a dime for every time we say this incoming freshman will do just fine replacing the key player....well you get the point.  Especially in the secondary.  I doubt it.  Sterns, Foster, etc will be great players but you cant put them the Junior Elliott category with zero games played.  Thats not reasonable.

Yes I am a Gary Johnson fan but depth is very bleak.

I realize the injuries on the OL were the main culprit for the offensive woes but I refuse to drink the koolaid on blocking improvemnet until I see it.

Anderson and Beck in the rotation should help immensly.   

Hopefully we crush Maryland.

One great sign was I noticed Porter isnt 1st string anymore.  I believe that should be an improvment in the run game.

I remember last year he was trying that but needed someone’s login. Because you still need a provider that’s listed. Thought someone helped him out last year.
