Saw it all summer, his explosiveness and ability to run a offense is outstanding for a Freshman. He will be very, very good by the time he leaves. Rick hammered that one. Diamond in the rough

I agree. Today's performance has been much better than last Fridays. This team still does not have a high ceiling, but they do play hard which is a start for the future. (As I type this another floater by Taylor).

I came over here to post the same thing.

"I want to be part of the solution." He is EXACTLY the type of bball player this team needs.

Very good, unselfish ball player who can move the ball up the court. We did a really good job the getting the ball and penetrating the perimeter tonight, which has always been a problem for us. We're gonna need a really clutch back court if we want to compete in this stacked Big 12 this year.

If only he could hit 75%+ from the FTL, but yes he's going to be really good. He'll be dominant if he can develop his jumper.

This team needs players that will be here for more than 1-2 years...I know that Kentucky does a great job w/ those type of players but, it's just not my cup of tea.

I just got back from the game and that was my big take away. For a freshman he makes very few mistakes and knows how to get people the ball in the right places. I think it is also very telling that the offense seems to get lost sometimes when he is off the floor. If he can develop a jumper he will one of the premier point guards in the country if he stays for 3 years.

A couple of other thoughts, this is a very fun team to watch and they seem to actually like playing together. Right now there is no one that has the ability to take over the game if needed so they will need to continue to play as a team. They seem more athletic that the past couple of years. Free throws will cost then at least one game this year (they almost cost them tonight). Originally I thought they would only be a 10 win team but I can now see them possably winning 15 games, they will need to stay injury free and get a few bounces along the way but I see it as a possibility.

Agree with both of you here. Hopefully they continue to improve during the next few games to get them ready for the long run in the conference where it could get ugly....Hope for the best, but I still don't see more than .500 in the conference....

I'm thinking 16 wins, hoping for more...They could get it if they stay healthy......Think Lucky
