Dropping 2 of 3 to Kansas to open B12 play at the Disch no less. Is Garrido good as gone? If so, who to replace? I like the guy at LSU.

Too early to tell but if so give me Skip Johnson and make some changes at the Disch.

Agree on both points. It's just Augie is knocking on eight decades and the offense is inept. I do like Skip. Think they would keep it inside?

I have no idea but I read somewhere that he would be high on the list. I seriously doubt he could screw up our offense anymore than it already is. Only way to go there is up. Pitching would remain among the best.

The combination of a major philosophy change in college baseball and recruiting classes cleaned out by the draft might spell the end for Augie. Sad to see him go like this if the season continues down this path. The guy deserved to go out on top

Guys I just do not believe that the big boys would allow this situation in basketball & baseball to keep happening with the coaches we have. Let them GOOOOOOOooooooo.

Skip Johnson is the de facto name, but I've heard Roger Clemens is lobbying hard behind the scenes to be the next head coach. Regardless, unless Augie gets us to Omaha this year, I think he's done. His allergy to offense is maddening.

i'm a skip fan. i think he'd do a great job. there's more to the offense equation than just augie, but he's a part of it. i'll go out on a limb and guess that this is his last year although i don't think he'll get run off. i think he may make that election primarily on his own.

i'd like to see skip come in as head coach and then go out and get a really smart major leaguer with experience like Lance Berkman to come in a work with the hitters. he's a texas guy and wants to be a coach. He'd attract talent because he's about as pure a hitter as they come.

13 straight conference series loses.
This should never happen at Texas.
Another thing that should never, ever happen at Texas is to finish last in the conference as the baseball team did last year. Totally unacceptable and should have been automatic dismissal/firing. The University of Texas should never finish last in anything!

I do not know, but he went on and on with that "cruel game" crap yesterday. I cannot stand to listen to him.

Tap the breaks a bit there bud. If the "season continues down this path" (i.e. ALL 21 games) we're hosting a regional at worst.
