Ahh OK. I think I was having the same issue yesterday. Next time, tell them to refresh their mobile browser and see if that works. Let me know.I was on a computer, but they may have been on a mobile device

There is a silver bar on the bottom of the screen. You need to add members as "Friends". When they are online, it will show up when you click "Who's online (#)"Where is the Instant Messenger??
Bottom of your screen is a silver bar with various icons. To the right of the silver tool bar is a feature that show's which of your contacts/friends are currently online and is the Instant Messenger feature. To the left is an icon that says chatrooms, where you can enter or begin a chatroom.Where is the Instant Messenger??

The old "like" format was better, IMO. Don't want to navigate away from the page to see what's what.I had a successful chat with FamilyMan last night and was able to continue reading the board, which was cool.
I emailed Aaron about the "like" button change. I didn't have your email or I would have copied you on it. Basically, I think the attribution in that feature that was once present - is quite valuable, says a lot without typing or speaking. I think it's useful in soothing tensions sometimes, if you have someone who disagrees with you a lot, showing you have some thoughts in common with that person can ease that situation. Just my two cents.
We had to change up from the old like button because it was a resource hog. The company that created that feature is no longer in business. We didn't want to implement a feature that was hard on the server and would never be fixed. The old "like" format was better, IMO. Don't want to navigate away from the page to see what's what.
