Instanalysis - Game 5 vs Baylor

Swoopes generally exceeded everyone's expectations for four games and had one sub-par game. Play the law of averages.
This is what has me scratching my head, "Swoopes generally exceeded everyone's expectations".

Yet Texas is

117th in Scoring Offense

117th in Total Offense

97th in Rushing Offense

104th in Passing Offense

(these numbers are from a poster on another site)

Something is very wrong with this picture if those numbers reflect "exceeding expectations" in any way, shape, or form.

The frustration with Swoopes from fans is understandable but Heard is nowhere near ready to take command of this offense.
Interested as to how you know this.  Heard routinely led Denton Guyer to the state title game in his tenure at Guyer where Tyrone played at Whitewright.  Judging by the scheme implemented by the Horns, it doesn't seem as if it would be that hard to hand the ball out and throw via play action.

I know what your trying to say, but this offense would move the ball much better with Heard at QB due to his athletic ability and ability to move in the pocket.  It's time to make a change and get Heard game experience before heading into next years season IMO.
