Except it's not. We also have had Applewhite and Old Freak Nasty. Barnes was rumored to have had an affair, and Augie is not that far removed from being a 70 year old version of Holgorsen. Yeah no sexual misconduct on the 40.

Rumors do not a "case" make. Every school has some of this going on at any give time. I'm not condoning some of the behavior (I do believe sex=love and more is needed in this sad world, not less) but there is no rule at the University against a Professor sleeping with a student. They are adults after all. There is a requirement for disclosure and of course, coaches and staff have to obey all laws and bylaws of state and other member organizations (NCAA, etc.).

Kearney and her lawyers WANT to make this out to be about the very point you're trying to make. But I doubt the court will allow them to try and draw any analogy to Major's situation. That's for message board fodder.
