Turn on ESPN News and watch the way that ESPN is offering an alternate viewing method.

It's called BCS Megacast

ESPN has three D1 head coaches discussing the game play by play, with no Musberger/Herbstreit.

They have Sumlin (aggy) , Addazio (Boston College,) and Chryst (Pitt) along with Speilman, Lugenbill & Millen as analysts.

What a fantastic way to watch a game. Very different but a very intuitive look at how college football coaches think.

Addazio called the fake punt before it happened.

I'm loving this. Wish Strong was there to give a defensive perspective. Can't stand Sumlin.

Who needs talking heads? I'm watching the "Sounds of the BCS" broadcast. Just the crowd noise for background. It's almost like being there!

I wish Strong was there. He'd be a great defensive mind.

Sumlin is the least active coach in the discussion. He seems out of place.

He was pretty active in the first half.

I tried. It's like watching paint dry. Those guys have no personality. The best is Spielman, but this just isn't a great setting for him.

I'm watching it for different reasons. I am not looking to hear personality; I'm watching it to hear solid football discussion. These coaches know what they're talking about and it's interesting to me to hear them analyze the plays and give perspective. A lot of things that they're looking at are things I wouldn't normally look for when watching a game.
