I've been a Texas fan since 1979 when I was a junior at Cleveland High School. I've seen great times and disappointing times with the University. I've had moments of elation when I cried, and times of mind numbing sadness when we lost. But what I feel right now is total apathy and nausea. Apparently, the leadership of the University I love and have supported through thick and thin (try dealing with sooners you work with after they've blown you out for the fourth time in 15 years) has chosen to follow the same path we've been on for several years.

Now we know why Saban signed his extension with Bama. Truly infuriating.

All this happening on a day when Famour Jameis high school coach says he made over 10 calls to Mack Brown about FJ and Mack never returned any of his calls?

Football attendance has fallen the last three years, including a drop of over 10K in season tickets last season. I can only imagine how far it will fall in 2014?
