After the past four very terrible football seasons and throw in the events of the past several days my interest & passion for Texas football has hit an all time low. I have very little confidence in anyone in our administration at this time. I have checked out because I fully expect them to screw this hire up. Wake me up when the official press conference is called. Until then good night.

I have absolutely no more confidence in our Admin than I had our coaching staff during the season.

I'm afraid we will make a hire based on something other than the most qualified...more than likely we will hire someone to be PC!!!

I'm with you, I woke up and was thinking about it today, and somehow I had a feeling we will hire someone who's just terrible and we will have even more years of mediocrity which I don't think I can handle anymore, especially because next year is my freshman year at UT. I just wanna watch good football again, I went on YouTube today and watched the highlights from the Ohio state fiesta bowl, damn I miss Colt McCoy

Other than saban who may or may not have come here depending on who you talk too what exactly is so horrible?

Mack Brown has stepped down. Rather it was Friday or sat that's what we all wanted.

Texas made a great hire in Steve Patterson IMO and deloss dodds is out to pasture.

I would think think this is the time to be excited. Texas is making change and for the first time in 16 years Texas will have someone new running the football program. I'm excited to see who it is and what they do in terms of everything.

This will be Steve pattersons hire. I really don't get already assuming it's going to suck but I just don't view things that way
