Huge pickup for Texas Volleyball

Lexi Sun commits to the Horns (2017 class). Might be the best player in the country in the 2017  class. Shocked she's going to leave California, thought this was Stanford or USC all the way. 

It might be a down year for Texas next year, but the 2015/2016/2017 classes are absolutely loaded (by down year I mean maybe not making the final 4).

I've always believed LHN helps our women's sports (and maybe baseball) more than the "money sports", football and basketball.

One of the reasons I love LHN....I get to see and keep up with our teams and sports that aren't normally on TV. It's given unprecedented exposure for our teams outside of football and basketball.

LHN hurts attendance at the basketball, softball, and baseball games for sure. You would think with the Omaha run we had last year attendance would be really good at baseball games....but it isn't. Bunch of empty seats.

It is great for people who can't afford or can't get to Austin all the time to see the games in person.

We have season tickets to football and baseball games, but LHN does allow us to see the other sports.

Sun made the U23 roster when she was 15. Several Pac 12 coaches said she could have started for them when she was in 8th grade.

It will be interesting how her development goes, but right now her upside is off the charts. 

This has the potential to be a once and a lifetime recruit.
