– I think their backup QB isn't bad, but he's not the starter for a reason. You can see a distinct difference in their offense when he's in there and when the starter is in there. So I feel we'll see a Tech offense at about 3/4 of their normal capacity.

We also have to realize that Duffey has only played when the starter was injured during the games; other than packages they have for him.  If I'm not mistaken the games they have lost have been games where the starter had to leave the game and Duffey had to come in mid game.  With that said, it'll be very interesting to see how he looks after a week practicing with the 1's and a game plan tailored around his skill set.  I hope our defense is ready.  The Tech offense we see will not be the Tech offense we're accustomed to seeing.  And that worries me a bit...

Also, are we sure it's Duffey starting?  Last week after Bowman went down, McLane Carter (the week 1 starter who Bowman replaced) was warming up on the sideline.  I don't think he ever entered the game.  If he's healthy, he could get the nod.  And if so, the Tech offense will be what we're used to seeing...

McLane Carter got benched for Bowman. Carter supposedly has a high ankle sprain so its the Duffey show.
