Just plugs in RBs one after the other after the other, and these guys are horses. Henry is a freshman, yikes!

All about recruiting and coaching them up.

To allow him to clear his mind and come up with ways to use the unique skills of his prized recruits, Saban secludes himself in any one of a number of homes he owns in different cities around the nation.

It's a lot easier to reliably identify RB talent coming out of HS than a lot of other positions - so when you can often get your pick of the litter, success follows.

Development helps, but it ain't like trying to create a great QB.

And beast OLs!!!
^^^ is the answer... Hands down. When his RBs go to the NFL they aren't all that great... None of the last three are very impressive as a whole. But he builds monster OLines that make those RBs lives a bit easier. If we too this approach our RBs would be much happier and have the same great production. However, our OLine has been lacking for some time.

As a Packer fan, I'll disagree - Eddie Lacey is a stud.

He has a great eye for what he needs in his system. You put the type of OL in front of a good to great back and you get outstanding production every year. Once you get that going, not to mention the NCs, the running backs want to go there.

Lacy is decent. He got the greatest opportunity for success ever being taken by the Packers and having one of the best in the game as a QB. We'll see how he progresses, or not.

I watch a lot of Packer games - he's more than OK.

Packers with a decimated OL, and no QB for most of the year.

I can recall when they said Teford couldn't produce NFL QB's only good college ones.

Then came Rodgers.

Haha agree to disagree. He was decent at Bama(Yeldon was better than him in the only year Lacy was the featured back). Lacy is a banger and those types don't usually perform at a high level very long.

I would say Lacy is the best of the bunch so far. Ingram and Richardson have been weak in the NFL. Richardson being garbage imo
