Could this commercial be made and accepted

today?

I'm offended at the "kids who climb on rocks". That has to be a euphemism for something inappropriate, right?

The offended, in 2014, would include, but not be limited to:

Fat kids

Skinny kids

Kids who climb on rocks

Tough kids

Sissy kids

Kids with Chicken Pox

Is this a Seattle thing?
No. Just sitting here with my dad discussing old commercials and this one got a chuckle. I told him I didn't think it could be made now because of how darned sensitive and PC everyone is today.

You could certainly make that commercial but would have to change the references a little bit:

"Fat kids" would be "kids with metabolic syndrome"

"Sissy kids" would be "transgender kids"
"Kids with Chicken Pox" "kids with a medical disability, not specified because of HIPAA"

I don't know if that would all rhyme, though.

I am old enough to remember when this commercial was on TV.  Your premise is correct, there would be howls today from various parties that would be offended by this terribly insensitive commercial.
