Our Rams were picked dead last in district by DCTF. Last week of district play we were tied for first and playing for a district title. They lost to Garrison and ended up as the 4th seed. They got healthy and got some players back for bi district. They haven’t been favored in a playoff game yet, but have beaten 4 district champs in a row, completely dismantling who most thought would win it all in Honey Grove. This week Joaquin is not picked to beat Ganado either. Keep doubting the Rams.

Duncanville over N. Crowley:
Here's why, Duncanville along with North Shore has two of the best receiving core in the country. Their defense is top rated. North Crowley offense is explosive, but I take a stingy defense over a potent offense.

Northshore over Westlake sets up Duncanville-NS 6
Longview over Southlake: Here's why three words Kelvin "Boosie" Washington 35tds and the Lobos haven't lost to a DFw team since SOC week3. The last time Longview was in 6a they went undefeated and won State.

Summer Creek over Vandergrift: Both teams lost in the state championship against powerhouse Desoto. I believe Summer Creek is looking to return after last year's embarrassment 74-14.

Denton Ryan over Highland Park: becoming a traditional semifinal matchup. They have met four times since 2016 and the winner wins state. Ryan wins because of their defense and Qb play. Ryan defeated 12-time state champion Aledo last week. Aledo has only loss in the playoffs in a 15 yr span...the teams that won were state champions or finalists.

Smithson Valley over Angleton
SOC over Argyle: Here's why unless Argyle can slow them down it's lights out. Defense gives up just 12pts per game and 139yds per game. SOC offense is explosive. Argyle does have a great running back in Watson Bell. These are facts.

Randle over Boerne: Here's why It's Randle's running back vs. Boerne QB. Boerne has scored 30+ every game are 10-3. Randle hasn't allowed more than 14pts to be scored on them all season. So again I go with defense.

Celina over West Plains & Kilgore over Lavernia
East Texas will have three teams in state championship.
Someone told me earlier in the year I was giving Brock too much credit as a follower of high school football. Well Anna, Brock, and Boerne have made statements in their respective divisions, including Lancaster in 6a.
However, all good things comes to an end Carthage vs. Waco LaVaga 4a D2 state championship.

Malakoff has the longest winning streak in the State and will win the 3a D1 championship again over Columbus. Gunter & Tidhaven will advance.

Other picks: Stamford, Ganado, Shiner, Gruver, Gordon, Ogleby
