Junior Govt Major at UT, planning on going to law school (about to begin my LSAT prep for the June test...gulp)

Former teacher, coach, and football official now working for a drug testing company (no, I don't test the drugs myself...) setting up and servicing testing programs for school districts and businesses throughout the state. Yes, I'm a traveling, card-carrying, certified pee collector...

Also worked on the TV series, "Friday Night Lights" in the football equipment department and had a couple of speaking roles in the show. Worked on the series, "Necessary Roughness" in a similar capacity a couple of summers ago.

During the football season, I'm a Television Timeout Coordinator, or "Red Hat" for the Big 12. In other words, I'm the guy in the red hat, red shirt, headset to the network production truck, and fluorescent orange gloves (they're not "oven mitts") you probably scream at to get off the field during commercial breaks at the UT games and other conference venues, as well as the Alamo Bowl, Texas Bowl, and the US Army All-American Bowl. I'm actually providing the fans in attendance at least three opportunities per quarter to relieve your bladders from the pregame tailgate ingestion of refreshments that I cannot partake in until after the game. :P

I'm wishing I could return to the area of team/sporting goods sales, but those gigs are getting harder to find...

Can work that out! Like Sept. 2014? Sept. is latest they go usually. Get in touch and I can set it up. Many many options to choose from.

I am a licensed attorney in the state of Texas. But work as a Petroleum landman... As someone previously posted I go from small town courthouse to small town courthouse looking at deeds/wills/probates/leases/etc. I currently live in Houston.

I own one of the largest independent sales rep companies in the U.S. We have offices across the country and sell to every big box retailer and most distributors in North America. If you have a product you need to get in front of a buyer at a large retailer I probably know a guy!

I would post what I do (did), but I am too intimidated by the smart people on here and the varied and interesting careers.

The University of Texas is a helluva school!

I work with ADP in Austin. I help companies out with outsourced HR, Benefits and federal/state/local compliance issues (especially Healthcare Reform!). Let me know if I can help anyone out or if you would like to get more info for your business!

Retired Plant Operator worked around some very nasty things that is required in every day things that y'all use. Now I just travil around the good old USA with my wife of 46 years and fish. Sometimes I get lucky and meet up with our fellow board members. I can say I have met some really great Texas fans. My friends y'all have a good day

20-year editor/reporter/wordsmith/tech guru/whatever keeps the bills paid currently working as the coordinator of petrochemical news and market coverage for North and South America, officing in Houston

A higher-functioning autisitc (scurilous rumor), I am considering a writing project to teach others like me to make concrete and lasting, humorous relationships based on sheer emotional values. My early research returns are not encouraging, I can't be around us enough to ask anything useful.

You see the issue, it may be time-consuming.

Acutally, the first four words are all that is really true.

Operations Manager for a Commercial/Residential Roofing firm. We also have a A/C and Heating Division here in San Antonio

work -- Two degrees from UT@Austin (geological sciences, minors in chemistry, zoology, and spanish). Went the environmental, water, groundwater route (almost went into mining). Was lucky to find a job in Austin for an environmental engineering firm (only about 4 or 5 of them in Austin at the time). I mainly design projects to clean-up contaminated soil and or water at commercial and industrial sites (i.e., dry cleaners, gas stations, refineries, chemical plants, pipelines, etc.) other part of my job is to help clients that are buying/selling there properties/companies ensure they are not buying/selling contaminated property(ies). Also, a lot of permitting work (local, state, and federal).

play -- Don't hunt, fish some (not as much as I'd like) so I tailgate. Been doing it before every UT home football game since 1994. Some parking lot since 1996 (across from Bob Bullock Museum). Started out with 4 couples (season tickets) and grew to on average about 75-100 tailgaters. Sometimes a lot more (tOSU, OSU, UCLA, etc.) and recently sometimes a lot fewer (fairweather fans... for another thread/discussion). But it gives me an excuse to smoke/prepare 100-150 lbs of meat every home game, drinks lots of Coors Light and/or Tito's....
