Herman's staff?

From everything I've read Ohio States offensive issues can be attributed to the fact that Herman is no longer on staff and Beck not meshing as well in the offensive scheme. There seems to be speculation that Beck doesn't have the same 'alignment' with Warinner as he did with Herman.

How much experience does Beck have calling plays? From the articles I read, Warinner is the play caller.

tOSU's offense certainly was anemic last night.

Woof
That's exactly what I was thinking? OSU did not look good...makes me question if this guy can make adjustments if the offense is sputtering out the gate. Would Beck be calling the plays or would Herman be calling the plays if Beck was hired?

FWIW, Chip Brown says he's confirmed that Florida State TE coach/recruiting coordinator Tim Brewster will NOT be joining the Texas staff.

Man some of you love to complain. Beck was the coordinator for a team that made the playoffs. He must not be that bad.

Last time I checked we didn't play in a bowl game for the last two years.
It's a good point but "must not be that bad" is a pretty low bar.

I hope herman doesnt pull a chuck and hire multiple OC's before just realising he should do it himslef

The thing about Beck is that he is apparently a relentless recruiter that is very familiar with working Texas. I think the jimmy's and Joes are more important than the X's and O's as long as they are well coached. JMHO

"Texas Interviewed Brian Johnson: As many of you may know by now, Houston recently hired former Mississippi State quarterback coach, Brian Johnson.

Interestingly, a Texas source informed me that coach Tom Herman actually interviewed Johnson for the open OC position right before he was hired by Houston.

Obviously Johnson was not offered the position and the source did not comment on why but added, “he’s a good young coach only a few years removed from playing. He should do wellâ€.

Some have speculated that Tim Beck could be the next OC at Texas. If the Ohio State fanbases’ reaction is any indication of his job security, he may be available very soon."
