I have serious doubts as to the sincerity if so. He is an Ohio boy and he's at the flagship school in the state having lost only 1 game in 2 years. His recruits are about to hit the 3 years sweet spot. Why would he leave when he will get paid a nice number by tOSU and he is where he has always wanted to be?

I assume the contact is real. But is the interest real? Does he want to leverage a raise or does he really want to come to Austin?

I know he expressed some interest in UT while he was at ESPN during his year off from coaching. But tOSU wasn't open then. Now he is where I believe he really wants to be. Does he really want to give up that opportunity to come to UT now?

guy at OB who has a level 1 connection to Meyer posted today someone from Texas reached out to Urbans Agent Trace Armstrong to gauge a yes or no if he should be included on UT's list and he says yes Meyer would meet with UT/Patterson etc to talk about the Texas position if asked too. He is happy at tOSU but there has always been something about the Texas program where he'd want to at least see where the conversation goes
