The U.S Army All-American game is going to be televised at 12:00, it's an opportunity for those who have not seen Texas commit Jerrod Heard play a bit vs pretty good competition. The games is on NBC.

He's 3rd on the QB depth chart for the West squad, so not sure how much of him we will see

Fantastic. Could this process get any worse? I like Strong as HC, I think it's a good hire, but the problem is he apparently isn't hired yet and our idiots should have had the whole thing intact so we could start approaching recruits right away and hit the ground running.

It's not true. Trust me. Jeff Howe and Justin Wells have both said the same. The NBC guys are idiots.

Heard has opened up his recruiting? According to the NBC/247 guys, yes.
Heard this as well. No pun intended, or maybe so. Strong better bring in a BAMF OC and lock down his deal and retain this offensive recruiting class. Key, Key, Key to this all working out.

What they were attempting to say was that Heard wants to see who the coach is first, he is still very much committed to Texas, at least this is what he said before yesterday. Justin Well put this out a while back.

Saw this guy when he was a Junior in the state championship, back in December of 2012. They were down 30-14 middle of the third, and the dude went off. They ended up outscoring Georgetown 34-7 the rest of the game, and Heard accounted for EVERY score they had.

Ran for 143 yards on 24 carries and 5 touchdowns, and also tossed two more TDs with 189 through the air. The guy was unconscious. Knows how to lead a team for sure when they're down late.

Also flashed a lot of hook'ems on the sidelines and while getting the MVP trophy, which was reassuring since the thought of him de-committing to aggy or Baylor seemed a little less out of the question.

People need to chill the F out.

Idiot announcers don't know squat about Heard or recruiting. There is a dead period right now as well and no matter if we dug up Vince Lombardi and he was our new coach already he better not be calling Heard or any other recruit.

Just chill. Heard is a Horn and there's no reason for him to look around when we have squat at QB and haven't had anyone since Colt.

Stop freaking out about everything.

Coaches can call during the dead period, they just can't visit the recruits in person, I believe.

Heard has not opened up his recruitment. He said after the game he's 100 percent a longhorn! and loves the Charlie Strong hire if true. Broadcaster made a mistake on air so that's why there's controversy.

man humans can sure mess things up. If we didn't have to fool with humans we can get things done.
