Gus Malzahn is off the table

Unless he has a huge buyout I think we can beat that offer by atleast a million or two if we wanted to.

All you have to do is tell your boss Texas wants you as coach. You'll get a raise.

$3.85million witha 250k bump every year............that precisely means that he is on the table.

Unless the buyout is crazy big, that means that if we are going hunting, he is easy game.

Unless there is a massive buyout (buyout was not even mentioned in the press release) Malzahn is still free to go wherever he wants.

Would be unusual but doesn't mean he is 100% off the table (was there any evidence he was even being considered?) if there is no huge buyout.

an extension doesnt mean a thing... we still do not have a vacancy and that is what scares me.

If our number one doesn't come this matters. I'm still on the train that our number one is coming.

He had a contract yesterday, he has a contract today. What's the difference?

(shoulder shrug)

$3.85 million is chopped liver around here. Not too concerned about Texas being able to handle that.

This. Everybody on OB and some here are "sky is falling." Most of these coaches would leave an out in their contracts specifically for a job like Texas.

He would never be considered for the Texas HC job. He embraced the street agents and parents with their hands out.

Won't get a second look.

Thanks for the feedback Pockey- sorry we didn't get to chat more than we did last night. Next time..
