and not the Texas v south alabama game lol.

#1 kentucky v #2 meatchicken state- going with msu

#4 duke v #5 kansas- going with duke

kentucky will get better over the course of the year, but i dont know if the youngsters are ready for the physical play from msu. however, there is more than enough first round talent to over come msu if they get rolling.

duke looked really good v davidson shooting 70%+ in that game. doubt they can match that, but hood looks to be a great addition with the freshman parker.

lots of lottery picks, will be fun to watch.

You're right this is going to be a great night of hoops. The advantage Kentucky has is catching MSU early in the schedule. They always seem to get stronger as the year goes on.

like uconn caught them last year.

msu has always done an excellent job of chugging the cutters and getting folks out of rhythm, banging them around. with the new rule this year i wonder how much it changes the way they play. most every coach out there taught to chug the cutter, but izzo's teams have always put a premium for making folks "pay the toll" as they ran through their defense. kentucky will find out in a hurry what it is like to try and rebound against some go getters.

Imagine if we got something like this to open a football season
i know...230 kick off with alabama v oregon 730 kick off Texas v florida state at jerry world or the superdome.

would need a play-off of 32 or so teams. strength of schedule rewarded. committee ranks them 1-32, line up and play till there is a champion. do not understand why this is so hard to figure out.

I'm looking forward to these games tonight, especially KU v Duke. We get to see two of those teams play here in Austin, Mich St and KU.
