Thanks again to everyone for their patience for today. I just got out of hibernation. It was a quite interesting day! We thought we were hacked due to lots weird log activity and it turns out PHP was NOT our friend (damned PHP). Unfortunately hosting made us wait all day to verify there wasn't anything or anyone compromised. I want to apologize (and congratulate) McPhaul considering his Crossfire was due today.

This was a blessing in disguise. During the down time, I was able to firmly grasp what we are working with behind the scenes. BBDude and I realized it was a great opportunity to begin migration to a machine 2-3 times as powerful as what we have now. We are not only implementing new security procedures (Shot out to HornEsch), but there will also be a new chat! That's right, a chat where you will see the window screen roll down and not up. A chat where you can message other users realtime and much more! There will also be a chat transcript for those who miss it.

We have a lot planned for the future. This site is YOURS too. Please drop a line for any and every improvement you would like to see in this thread. If possible, we will do our best to make that accommodation. We appreciate all the love and patience during this transition period.

Perhaps you can just create a duplicate link banner like the one at the top of the threads;

We will get this locked down and better protected for the future. It really is amazing just how many attacks there are a day. I have done some work in past jobs in "organizations" whose whole purpose is t0 counter the attacks. It is down right crazy how resilient some of the attacks are.
