Okay for Edmonds to dislike Baylor, but don't be so vocal about it.  Posting his unfiltered thoughts on Twitter just provides a good team with motivation and bulletin board material.  They're the Big 12 Champs for a reason.

BU has beaten Texas 3 of the last 4 games (UT is 1-2 vs. Baylor in Edmond's career at Texas).  I like the attitude/confidence but this will serve as BU locker room fodder.  His play needs to back it up this season.

It wasn't on twitter, it was in the post-game player interviews. A reporter asked Edmunds what the goal for '14 was. He appropriately replied it was to win the Big 12. The reporter goaded him further when he mentioned the hoopla BU was making about being the defending champs.

That's when Steve went off.

Never, EVER give the other team bulletin board material.  He just made it tougher on his coaches and his team mates.

Now Baylor has all year for this to fester and by the time they play us, even their walk ons will be snorting fire.

Well for one, the defense gave up 29 first downs and 500+ yards.  

When someone beats you 30-10, just shut up and prove it between the lines.
