Have no idea what I just watched, but I will take it.  Not sure how they pulled it off, but Sam looked, well, not quite right today.  He seemed lethargic and gassed until the final 3 minutes. 

I wish we wouldve gone down the field more in this game, but then again Sam seemed off.  

Anyone know the status of Bijan?  That was nasty.

Fortunately theirs wasn't so hot either.

Looks like with the shortened practice time this year everyone is skipping special teams... kind of like how everyone skips leg day.

When was the last time we did that on the road?

Seriously, the last one i remember was a 62-0 win in 2005 at Baylor. Although, that mightve been in Austin.

I love the win. But this game was very frustrating. Ash got his baptism. Hopefully he can figure it out. As far as I see for this game, mensa pooped the bed. Ehlingher did as well. No down field shots were taken other that the one to Moore.

Come on now.... You know that 2 week fix was the exception not the rule.

Plus if anyone had already figured out how to shut down Big 12 offenses everyone would do it. Leach takes it to the sec and almost scores fitty, against lsu with the DC everyone wanted before Orlando.

Point being... no one has the answer. I do know Ash deserves more than 2 games.

That was some of the worst tackling I’ve seen... well, since we played OU last year.  Coaching makes an immediate impact on tackling.  

No way our talent on defense should give up 50+ to their talent on offense.  I don’t care what scheme they run.  Might I remind you Houston Baptist gave up 35 points last week to Tech?  I didn’t even know they played football....

I am. I know we looked bad and I have questions about the future, but today a win is a win is a win.

I hate to wake up on Sunday and the first was we lost to Texas Tech. I can wake up in a better mood.

I hear you.  I’m happy we won, but that was as awful a win as you could have.  That defense has a bunch to clean up.

I agree with you SHA. When Joshua Moore went out, with Jake Smith and Whit already sidelined, I was concerned. JM is tough, though. I hope Bijan is ok. 

I think Ingram is running much harder or more effectively this year. Not sure what it is. Ingram can definitely lay down a block, and this team showed a lot of determination.

I wish the 2008 team could have gotten the same satisfaction.

When I lifted, I loved leg day, even though my trainer routinely kicked my tush. I eat very little steak, but would always eat steak on leg day. I always thought it helped recovery.
 

Haven’t lifted since chemo. Think I’m about ready to start again, but it will have to be lighter. Treatment did some damage to my bones, not too bad though. Lifting should help them if I take it slow.

I think the defense has gone back to the one that made every RB look like a Heismanwinner.They won the game!

The offense runs too many plays that always fail and expects different results.

We won the game.Maybe faster recievers or ones who could block might make play work.Horns won!

Jeez, the horns defense or "efense" regressed back to the manny diaz days! WTH is going on with poor tackling and lack of coverage skills? Im happy for the win but im fuming at the state of the defense! I dont want to even mention the ST play. Thank you offense for scoring 63!
