The Texas Longhorns host the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday evening at Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium. Both teams are still in the hunt for a chance to play in the Big 12 Championship Game on December 1, which makes this game extremely important to both the 'Horns and Cyclones. It's  a special night in Austin, with the Seniors celebrating their last game in front of a home crowd, which happens to mark the 500th game in history at Darrell K. Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium.

Iowa State is red hot, winning five in a row, while Texas is back in the win column after defeating Texas Tech last week on the road.

Okay, wife and I are ready. We got in 18 holes of golf today in great November weather here in North Texas. Now we're home, dinner's on the stove and we're enjoying some nice wine. 45 minutes to kickoff. Let's kick some ass.

Good to see CJ making extra effort blocking for KI on that TD.

Al McGuire, basketball coach of Marquette who led them to a national championship in basketball, once said: "The only good thing about a freshman is they will be a sophomore next year."
