I was impressed with the freshman offensive lineman. Karic out there against one of the best pass rushers in the country did well. I saw Major get a bunch of good blocks too. It showed in the running game. How can you not love Derek? Playing with a bad ankle injury and got hurt. He could have took the easy way out and said my ankle is too bad but he played. That’s what you play for. You play for that name across your chest, you play for that guy with his hand in the dirt next to you. Derek is a lifetime Longhorn. I’d like to see him get well and come back. I think he can make a team in the NFL. I love the kid. I played offensive line so I know sweat dripping off the tip of your nose. Lineman play for those other 4 guys in the group

Just going state one thing, Bijan had a career day 172yds and 3 TDs, but he still only had 9 carries.  He also had 3 rec for 51yds for a grand total of 12 touches for 223 yds and 3 TDs.  He scored every 4th time he touched the ball.

Thats criminal, IMO. Bijan had it going on today and Herman only gives him the ball 9 times?

Dicker averaged 45.5 on two punts. Small sample but he’s a pretty good punter.

glad Im not the only one that noticed that stat, he should and could have easily had 200, NINE touches, thats criminal, its stuff like that that makes guys transfer out. Bijan is a game breaker and can take it to the house every time he touches the ball, the move he made on the DB after catching the swing pass, was the stuff dreams are made of, that DB is still looking for his jockstrap. If I was the OC I would seriously consider going to the QB under center and let Bijan run out of the I formation or at least the Pistol. I think he is that good

I beg to differ. Bijan got NINE stinking carries. That's not even letting him get into a groove. Nice friggin carries. smh

Agree. He was just killing it today.

When we play Kansas, they should just hook that plow mule up and let him have his way with their defense. No reason to pass. Just give the rock to Bijan and watch him run. Watch him run far.

Bijan is so smooth, that 30-yard TD looked effortless.

I'm fine with Bijan getting nine carries. We scored 69 points and Roschon had 14-134 yards. Next year we can give him 20 or more carries in the tough games and hopefully have games like this where nine carries are enough.

This is what his stats in high school. He would have 10-12 carries for over 200 yards and not play the second half.

Breece Hall is the top running back in the country averaging 6.3 yards per carry. Bijan is now at 5.2 yards per carry and is averaging 9 yards per carry in the last three games.
