Game Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Per Chip:

1 ... Left guard Patrick Vahe suffered an ankle injury Thursday, but the severity isn't immediately clear, which means it's probably got a pretty good chance of being a concern.

Christ how many counters and screens are they running that requires them to pull into open space?

Per Chip Vahe Update:

Reported earlier that Vahe didn't practice this afternoon.

Just got confirmation that Vahe's ankle injury is not considered serious.

Was told: "I'd be surprised if he (Vahe) doesn't play against Notre Dame - and play well."

Thinking maybe we should just do walk-through practices until game time.

Maybe we could substitute the blocking sled for the o-line until game day. Run lots of end a rounds and whatever.

Hey! Do Cal and Hawaii play defense?

Im watching the game now.

Looking good for the Longhorns so far

Holy crap...Cal D is worse than last year. Foreman and Warren could each get 200+ in that game. Plus, their Olive looks weak.

Per HD:

" Both Heard and Locksley dropped the QB position from their profile and are strictly listed as WR.

Heard has received more reps at receiver than Locksley throughout fall camp. And according to HD sources, Heard has recently taken a lot of first-team reps at inside receiver."

Estes, T. (2016). http://www.scout.com/college/texas/forums/2441-horns-house/14911841-jerrod-heard-kai-locksley-officially-listed-as-wr

Imagine if we had both Heard and Locksley on the field at the same time. That would be 3 QBs on the field involved in one play. Imagine the possibilities there.

With Locksley, Burt, LJH, Collin, and even Heard at 6'2, our WRs are looking like an NBA line up

It may just be the off season high, but I feel like the talent is here. If we can get average qb play. I feel like 9-10 wins is not out of the question.
exactly, this team is hungry and motivated, the talent level is on an upward curve and they already have team speed on O and D...avoid serious injuries, get competent QB play and they will competing for the title this year.
