Friday Night Playoff Discussion

I will be on here tonight late to discuss some topics that will undoubtedly arise from the Texas high school playoffs tonight. I had a gut feeling about Dallas Lincoln beating Dallas Carter, and it happened. Kennedale 2015 RB Juwan Washington (5'7, 170) went for 336 and 6 TDs last night and has 2,269 yards and 36 TDs this season. A player to watch in a ridiculous 2015 RB class in Texas, for sure. Any result in any class, post them and bring any discussion. Stats are helpful. Discussing the possibility of bringing "Who Went Off" back this week for Horn Sports. With myself. No official discussions have taken place. For a possible upset tonight, I like Austin Westlake to repeat its upset over Pflugerville Hendrickson (10-0) from the 2012 playoffs and move on deep. Was 6-4 last season and went to the semifinals with the same upset.

I really wish that I could make it to the Stephenville vs. Brownwood Battle for 377 playoff game tonight. I heard about Juwan going off, it'll be interesting to see how the chips fall for the kid.

Have to give a shoutout to my boy 2014 QB Isaiah Hall for taking Burleson from 0-10 last year to the playoffs this year. His reward is a date tonight with #1 Aledo, but I hope the kid shocks the world.

Tazh Malloy is the real deal, if you cacth this game, watch Hawk D they are for real and swarm- a bit undersized but very fast. This O-line gets some starters back and should look different than the last two games.

I expect the team which opened the season by taking Vandegrift (9-2) [49-14], Leander (5-6) [52-0], and Rouse (8-3) [28-0] to Cellblock D.

Westlake is impressive. But Maloy is, too. A nice little fire and ice situation with Perine, who is going to enemy but a really good prospect. They have some underrated WRs, too. Westlake has Severt who rarely makes mistakes, still have Will Copa out there, and Brecklyn Hager, who has a brother at Baylor. Westlake is as dangerous as ever. If it was not for this Brennan/Clemens deal where I get to see four Division I 2014 prospects on defense, I would go. But... Derick Roberson, Grant Watanabe, Kolin Hill (Notre Dame offer yesterday), and twin Kaleb Hill.

If you are in to six man football, #9 Jonesboro (10-0) vs Calvert (8-1) could be an upset special. Calvert has a steady supply of athletes.

Never saw Coppell losing to Plano. What a surprise. Coppell held out Thomas the last game just to have him fresh and healthy against Plano.
