Friday Night Lights – State Championship Week

CLASS 6A DIV 1 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

Allen 28

Lake Travis 27

3rd

Dicker with the 42-yarder

Dicker with the great onside kick, but LT blocked before it went 10 yards. Other wise it would have been LT ball. Dicker can do it all!

OU QB commit Tanner Mordecai is playing in this one, as well as the OL we missed on Levingston.

Halftime

I've not been real impressed with Mordecai, so far. Cy-Fair is up 20 at the half.

Midway's CJ Williams is legit.

Mordecai is a decent passer, but not much mobility despite the reputation for being so.

Levenston looks pretty good. He needs to finish plays, but what he does is good.

FINAL

Congratulations to the Cy-Fair Bobcats on their first ever state title

And that wraps up another high school football season. This was the 19th HS/Texas commit preview I've done this season because we had some out of state commits who start their seasons earlier than Texas schools do. Its been a long season but it was fun to watch it all unfold again.

This was the third season I've done these previews of high school football and Texas commits here on Hornsports. This may have been the most enjoyable year for me yet. It was exciting.

I'll keep doing them as long as I'm able and am given some slack during deer season, lol.

2,400 page views, 156 replies over 7 pages . . . this is probably the best this thread has done in all the three years I've done it. Thanks a bunch guys!

Sha, i really appreciate your threads. Pretty much the only way for me to keep up with THSFB easily since I don't life in TX right now.

Even if you might encounter some crazy guys that are very passionate about their programs  :D
