Let's get started. Sorry for the lateness. Had my first final of the semester today and just got done!

Anthony Hines committed to Texas A&M earlier today, which really wasn't a surprise. However, Texas is not out of it yet. They are still set to have an in-home with Hines sometime next week.

JUCO RB Krysten Hammons has very high interest in Texas, but do the Longhorns have interest in him? Maybe, maybe not. I have not seen Hammons' tape, but have heard that it is not eye opening by any means. If Texas misses on their other prospects like Eno Benjamin and Toneil Carter, Hammons might be an option. Although Hammons is the #1 JUCO RB in the nation, that doesn't always mean too much. Don't get your hopes up about this kid. However, he is highly interested in Texas. I have no hesitation about whether or not he would commit to Texas if offered.

Tom Herman and Co. continue to hit the recruiting trail. They will constantly hit Texas hard until the dead period arrives. Herman has great relationships with Texas HS coaches, which is a boost from the Strong era. I wouldn't could Texas out of anyone's recruitment just yet.

Lastly, just days after delaying his commitment decision, Baron Browning pledged his services to the Ohio State Buckeyes. A few days prior, Browning received a visit from Urban Meyer and his staff. With so many defensive players probably leaving for the NFL draft, the decision is not unwarranted. Texas will continue to push for Browning, but this one will be tough to come back from.

What are your thoughts on recruiting or any other matter? Also hearing that Texas will decline a bowl invitation if they are invited. Probably the best move, imo. Fire away with all questions and we will get to them!

Is it still possible to flip Anthony Hines from A&M?

Are we #1 right now in terms of landing Little, Wilson & Chaisson?

Any word on DC & OC for the team?

1. Never say never on Hines. The in-home next week will be important.

2. I would say #1 for Chaisson & Little, behind LSU for Wilson. Chaisson could follow Wilson so keep an eye on that.

3. I don't think we will hear about that for a few more weeks. As far as DC, I expect it to be Orlando. Lane Kiffin is interviewing for UH HC job, so we know they are going after bigger fish.

Yeah I've heard Herman is pretty damn good on the recruiting trail and in-home visits.

Seeing Chaisson next to Taquon Graham on the field would be nasty in Orlando's 3-4 hybrid defense. And I could see Wilson starting immediately next season. And if you had to predict who the OC would be other than possibly Applewhite and his lawsuit who would it be?

Is there much of a feel for how the locker room is responding to the coaching change?  I'm just a bit nervous about Love Charlie vs. Tough Love Tom.

I've heard several names ranging from Stan Drayton (Chicago Bears RB coach) who actually was a damn college coach and recruiter as co-oc to the Clemson OC. Basically I don't think anyone knows right now.

I think it's going to take some getting used to. Some of the kids were coddled, and Herman is the exact opposite. This is a coach who fed his players watery eggs and burnt biscuits for breakfast if they had a bad practice. There will be some players who can't handle it.

With the amount of talent on this team what do you predict our record will be next year and do you think we have a great chance of beating USC in the coliseum?

Who do you think will be offered next? Bryson Smith, Eno Benjamin, or someone else?

I would say 8-4, and right now I won't pick them to win because USC is a top 8 team and it's away. It's possible though

Who are the possible attrition candidates?

Townsend, Cuney, Garrett Gray, and Garrett Thomas come to mind.

Those are good guesses. I would add Tristan Houston (if he hasn't already decided I honestly forgot) and Holton Hill if he can't fix his attitude. I would subtract Gray because he has good hands, and Herman appreciates the TE much more than Gilbert

What are you hearing regarding Hermans recruiting style?

What's the contrast between Herman and Strong in recruiting?

If Texas does end up taking a transfer QB, who do you think it would be? Allen or Stidham?
