Freddy Coleman and Paul Finebaum on Saban and TExas

Was listening to Freddy's show late tonight on way home from work. Freddy had Paul on the show to discuss Texas. They said there is no way Saban to TExas based on their sources. THey were so blatant that they wanted Saban to stay at Alab that is was almost ridiculous. Dont know if Saban comes but if you were to listen to them it is a 0% chance. I know McPhaul said it is happening and I certainly believe him but I found this interesting.

Fedog - You've got to take into account guys like Finebaum. The dude is a troll who has seen his profile raise because of the perception of SEC dominance. He stands to lose large if the king of the jungle takes his talents to new arenas.

I know everything in college sports is cyclical, but I don't think they head to mediocrity. They'd have to hire a Dooley or kiffin. The right replacement could keep them in the mix, and with the cupboards full it shouldn't be too difficult.

Funny because on his ESPN interviews he seemed to be hedging a bit. Or at least slightly open to the possibility.

Finebaum is nothing more that a shock jock, He thinks he is the show, but the show are his callers, and you can only listen to those type callers for so long. Finebaum has to tell his base what they want to hear, but he will be the first to lead the lynch mob when Nick leaves Tuscaloosa..His agenda is seeing that he has a show and career after all this is over

Freddie Coleman is the overnight sports jock that has almost zero listening audience except for bored insomniacs, truckers and shift workers, he has no credibility
